German Minister Volker Wissing impressed with Indias UPI payment system

Germany's Federal Minister for Digital and Transport, Volker Wissing, was "very fascinated" by his first-hand experience of India's UPI payment system. Wissing used UPI to make a payment to a vegetable seller in New Delhi and was impressed by how easy and convenient it was. He called UPI one of India's success stories and said that it could be a model for other countries.
