Fire breaks out at Grand Hotel in Shimla, 5 fire tenders on spot

A major fire broke out at Grand Hotel in Shimla. Five fire tenders were rushed to the spot as the dousing exercise is underway. The fire incident reportedly took place because of the renovation work being done at the hotel. Speaking on the incident, Deputy Commissioner of Shimla, Rajeshwar Goel told ANI that five fire tenders were pressed into service following a fire incident at the Grand Hotel, and most of the fire has been controlled.
