Employees' Provident Fund interest rate lowered to 8.5 per cent

The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has decreased interest rate on provident fund deposits to 8.5 per cent for the current financial year. This is the lowest interest rate in the last 7 years.
