Diwali 2023: Udhampur Women Take Eco-Friendly Diwali To Next Level

A group of women from Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir, have taken eco-friendly Diwali to the next level by crafting traditional lamps using cow dung. This initiative is not only promoting Prime Minister's Vocal for Local and Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan, but it is also nurturing the environment. In addition, cow dung diyas are much cheaper to make than traditional diyas made from clay. This makes them an affordable option for people who are looking for an eco-friendly way to celebrate Diwali.
