Single-use plastic is no longer permitted in Delhi as of today. Those who disobey the guidelines could face harsh punishment. A provision of 1 lakh rupees or up to five years will be made on the violation of the regulations, and that unit would be closed if anyone is discovered to be breaking the new rules.
