CSR funds: Govt restricts norms for companies

Companies that have failed to spend 2 per cent of their profits on the social welfare activities as a part of government's corporate responsibility (CSR) policy may soon be asked to deposit the unspent funds in Swachh Bharat Kosh, Clean Ganga Fund or Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF).
