Coronavirus cases in India crosses 8.7 lakh mark though around 5.50 lakh recovered

With 28,701 new infections, the number of total coronavirus cases in the country is over 8.7 lakh. After 500 deaths reported in the last 24 hours, the toll now stands at 23,174.
