Conflict-like situation on the order mandating jewelry hallmarking from 1 June

The Bombay High Court bench of Justices Sunil Shukre and Avinash Gharote on Friday ordered the Central Government not to take any punitive action against any jeweller who did not hallmark his jewellery before 1 June. This is a major relief for more than five lakh jewellers in India.
