Companies will have to give free SMS, TRAI fixed the rates of emergency messages

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has fixed the rates of SMS to be done at the time of disaster. Free SMS will have to be given on request by any government agency NEC/ NCMC/ SEC/ Nodal agencies. If it is not notified under the Disaster Act, then companies will get 2 paise per message charge for it.
