Chandrayaan-3 Landing: India Makes History with Chandrayaan-3 Moon Landing

India has made history as the Chandrayaan-3 mission has successfully landed on the moon's south pole, an unexplored region that is thought to be rich in water ice. According to ISRO chief S Somanath, the landing was very soft as ISRO was able to achieve most of the nominal conditions including the velocity of the touchdown.
