BJP Leader Suvendu Adhikari Detained; Police Lathicharge Party Workers During A Protest In Bengal

Kolkata Police has detained Leader of Opposition in West Bengal Assembly Suvendu Adhikari and MP Locket Chatterjee ahead of Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) protest march to state secretariat 'Nabanna' on Tuesday. In Howrah, the protests went out of control and police resorted to firing tear gas shells and spraying water canons on BJP workers. Police put up heavy barricading in Howrah ahead of the BJP's Nabanna march. Watch this video for more details.
