Aapki Khabar Aapka Fayda: TRI releases new guidelines to protect customers from Cyber Fraud

Telecom regulator TRI has created a new guideline to protect customers from cyber fraud through SMS, under which customers will not receive OTP on the phone from 1 April. TRAI has asked to activate SMS scrubbing or SMS checking filters from 1 April, as well as to block such SMS which does not follow the rules of regulatory standards.
