Aapki Khabar Aapka Fayda: 85% of patients use digital devices to reverse diabetes

Dr. Shashank Joshi of Mumbai presented a report at the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology (AACE) in San Diego demonstrating how a digital technology platform established by an IIT Madras firm assisted patients in achieving Type 2 diabetic remission. According to his report, 84.4 percent of diabetic patients who utilized a computerized tool had remission in fewer than 180 days. Artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things (IoT) were assisting diabetic patients in understanding which foods triggered a spike in blood sugar levels and so controlling variations.
