7th Pay Commission: Central government employees salary demands are to the point. Even as they have been waiting for the promises they were given to be carried out, they have seen many protests on salary issues lead to positive outcomes for others. The latest were the Gramin Dak Sevaks in the postal department whose pay hike demands were cleared by the government after they went on strike. However, after initially threatening to go on protest, central government employees have not raised the issue again.
