In its recent tweet, Aadhaar stated, "Check Aadhaar Authentication History of up to 50 authentications in past 6 months. Exact date & time of Authentication are mentioned in the results, which can help you notice any unintended authentication entry." This process of checking the history of past 50 authentications will help an individual to spot any unintended entry. The link for this entire process has also been added to the Twitter post.
One must note that the aadhaar authentication history service hosted on UIDAI website at uidai.gov.in, provides details of authentication performed by the individual resident in past. In order to check the aadhaar authentication history, a person who is a resident or citizen of the country will have to login to the UIDAI website. Now, a resident can check his/her aadhaar authentication history from UIDAI websites by using his/her Aadhaar Number/VID and following the directions on website. It must also be noted that only registered mobile number should be used for this service.
Now, a resident can get the following information in aadhaar authentication history against every authentication done by the resident:
1. Auth Modality.
2. Date & Time of Authentication.
3. UIDAI Response code.
4. AUA Name
5. AUA Transaction ID (With Code)
6. Authentication Response (Success/Failure)
7. UIDAI Error code
An aadhaar number holder can view details of all authentication records performed by any Authentication User Agency (AUA) or by him/her in the last six months. However, maximum 50 records can be viewed at one point of time.
In case of any confusion and for further details, one must login to the UIDAI website at uidai.gov.in.
