mAadhaar App Password: Now, it is known that one can avail the Aadhaar services from the mAadhaar App. For security purposes, the users of this app must set a four-digit security passcode for the app. This passcode will be required for availing any Aadhaar related services from the mAadhaar App.

The Aadhaar is a verifiable 12-digit identification number issued by UIDAI to the resident of India for free of cost. The Aadhaar has tweeted from its official Twitter handle asking the users to set the four-digit passcode for the mAadhaar App. The tweet said, "Set a 4-digit passcode for your #mAadhaar app. This passcode will be required if you use any services related to the selected Aadhaar profile like Aadhaar Lock/ Unlock, Biometric Lock/ Unlock, VID generator, eKYC etc. Download and install the #mAadhaarApp."

 

In order to create the four-digit passcode, the user has to click on 'Register My Aadhaar' and create the four digit password.

The mAadhaar App is available to download for both Android and iPhones from Google Play store and App Store, respectively. After the downloading is done and the installation is completed, one can get started with the mAadhaar App by consenting to the rules and regulations. After that, one has to select the language and proceed. Now, the user has to enter the registered mobile number, the user will receive an OTP in the registered mobile number which he or she needs to enter in the OTP space provided.
After the mAadhaar App is set up, the user will be able to avail the Aadhaar-related services from the mAadhaar App.

The mAadhaar app can be used anywhere anytime within India. It is more than Aadhaar card in a wallet. On one hand, the mAadhaar profile is accepted as a valid ID proof by airports and railways on the other resident can use the features in the app to share their eKYC or QR code with service providers who sought Aadhaar verification of their customers before providing Aadhaar services.

The Aadhaar had tweeted from its official Twitter handle informing the people to uninstall all the previous versions of the app and to install the latest version of the mAadhaar App.
