One must note that in order to avail this service, one has to use one's registered mobile number. One will receive OTP for Aadhaar authentication in the registered mobile number. Also, Rs 50 will be charged for each update request through the online portal.

Through the self-service update portal, one will be able to update one's name, date of birth, gender and address. For submitting the supporting documents, one will be required to upload original coloured scanned copies of POA document as per the valid document list.
