Aadhaar Online Service: Update demographic details through SSUP for Rs 50 per request - here is how
As per the information provided by Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), Aadhaar holders will be able to update more than one detail at once. However, they need to note that a charge of Rs 50 needs to be paid per request.
Aadhaar holders can update the demographic details including (name, date of birth, gender, address and language) online through Self Service Update Portal (SSUP). SSUP is a portal for Aadhaar holders which is used to correct or update their address in Aadhaar online.

How many times Aadhaar data can be updated?
An Aadhaar holder can update his/her name twice in life time, gender once in life time, date of birth (DoB) once in life time (subject to the condition that the present status of the DoB is declared/approximate). Change in date of birth can be updated only for unverified DoB.
Document required for online updates:
Each of the data type updates requires the following verification requirements.
For Name: Scanned copy of Poof of Identity (POI)
For Date of Birth: Scanned copy of Poof of Date of Birth
For Gender: OTP authentication via mobile/Face Auth
For Address: Scanned copy of Poof of Address (POA). Resident can update address even if they do not possess POA document by requesting for.
For Language: Not Required.
Also, a registered mobile number is mandatory for online Aadhaar update requests as you will receive OTP for Aadhaar Authentication in your registered mobile.
How to update Aadhaar details online?
Step 1: Go to the official website of UIDAI at https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/ssup/ and click on 'proceed to update Adhaar'.
Step 2: Provide your relevant credentials online, including the Aadhaar number and captcha.
Step 3: Click on the 'Send OTP' option.
Step 4: Next you will receive a six-digit OTP on your registered mobile number. As you will enter the OTP you will be allowed to update your demographics data.
Step 5: Make the relevant changes to your name, address, date of birth, or language wherever required and submit it by clicking on 'Proceed'.
Step 6: Upload relevant documents in support of the changes made.
Step 7: Submit and review the changes made.
Step 8: You will be provided with an update request number (URN) which can be used to check the status of your Aadhaar card update process.
