If you have been waiting for a long time to buy your dream home, then this is the right time to buy a dream home as the period of low-interest rates will continue for some time, said Challa Sreenivasulu Shetty, Managing Director (MD) at the State Bank of India (SBI).
If you have been waiting for a long time to buy your dream home, then this is the right time to buy a dream home as the period of low-interest rates will continue for some time, said Challa Sreenivasulu Shetty, Managing Director (MD) at the State Bank of India (SBI).
The MD (Retail & Digital) talked about purchasing a dream home at a low-interest rate.
Shetty said it is a good time for buyers, particularly for those who are looking for long-term mortgages.
The banking system and financial system definitely helped people to realize the dream of having their own home, he added.
Generally, Credit demand drops sharply after the festive season. But this time there is no drop seen in the credit demand after the festive session.
However, interest rates are not expected to rise due to an increase in consumption demand.
It's a good time. The real estate market has improved and new home launches are also being done by builders.
These interest rates for long-term loans are great for now. Everybody should seriously think about making your dream home your own, he concluded.
