Triumph Street Twin, Street Scrambler 2019 launched in India: Check prices, images, specifications
Triumph Motorcycles India has launched the updated Street Twin and Street Scrambler in India today. The 2019 Triumph Street Twin and the 2019 Street Scrambler get comprehensive upgrades for the new year that are both cosmetic and mechanical. The bikes will have a new seat structure, redesigned side panels, brushed aluminium brackets to hold the headlamp and many more cosmetic changes.
Triumph Street Twin 2019: Engine
The 900 cc, 2019 Triumph Street Twin will now get an additional 10 bhp from the same motor with power output now rated at 64 bhp. Peak torque remains the same at 80 Nm delivered at 3800 rpm but gets a flatter torque curve spread wider through the rev range.
Street Scrambler 2019: Engine
Triumph Street Scrambler 2019, with new high torque motor, produces 18 per cent more power at 64 bhp, while 80 Nm of peak torque is available earlier at 3200 rpm. The compression ratio has also increased from 10.6:1 to 11:1 on the Scrambler.
Triumph Street Twin 2019: Changes
It has added on some features like 10mm increase to the seat foam, improved rider ergonomics, Ride-by-wire, single throttle body, fuel-efficient. It has two riding modes. i.e rain and road mode along with switchable traction control with a torque assist clutch.
Street Scrambler 2019: Changes
The Street Scrambler will have comfortable ergonomics and accessible neutral handling, wide handlebars, forward set foot pegs and a 19-inch spoked front wheel with dual purpose Metzeler Tourance tyres fitted as standard, Ride-by-wire etc.
Triumph Street Twin 2019: Price
The all-new Street Twin will be sold for Rs 7.45 lakh in India (all prices ex-showroom, Pan-India).
Street Scrambler 2019: Price
The new Street Scrambler in India will be sold for Rs 8.55 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, Pan-India).
