Indian Railways' state-of-the-art Train 18 is here: Check route, speed, all details
Train 18: The much-awaited Indian Railways high-speed train - 'Train 18' is all set to get rolled out by mid-October and to go under the commercial operation in November. The Train 18 is engineless like Metro trains and are self-propelled. The train will be replacing Shatabdi Express over the course. It will be first inducted on the Delhi-Bhopal route. The fair is likely to be a little higher than that of the current Shatabdi Express. Check out the stunning pcitures:
Train 18: Self-propelled
Train 18 will be self-propelled on electric-traction and does not require an engine to pull it. It is capable of running at the speed of 160kmph. (Image: Zee Business)
Train 18 Coaches
Each train set will have 16 coaches. The coaches will have two class - Executive class and second class. The executive class chairs will be fully rotatable. (Image: Zee Business)
Train 18: Sliding Doors
