Snowfall in Shimla: During childhood, when we used to draw winters on paper, in our imagination it was all about sweaters and heavy snowfall! What if your imagination turns into reality? Yes it is happening in Himachal Pradesh's hill station of Shimla! However, the beauty apart, the huge amounts of snowfall has hit tourists as 150 roads have been blocked in the entire state. This has prevented new tourists coming to the hill station and those who are already there are finding it difficult to leave. According to IMD forecast, Shimla received 20 cm snowfall between 5.30 pm on Tuesday and 8.30 am on Wednesday. Have a look at the pictures of snowfall in Shimla below:
