The PM Narendra Modi led NDA government is celebrating ‘National Unity Day’ to pay respect to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his 145th birth anniversary.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, popularly known as Sardar Patel, played a key role in the Indian freedom movement. He united 562 princely states to build the Republic of India.

New projects near Statue of Unity

On Friday, Modi had inaugurated as many as 17 new projects, including new tourist attractions near the Statue of Unity. Some of the major attractions include Arogya Van, Ekta Mall, Children Nutrition Park, Sardar Patel Zoological Park or Jungle Safari, and a boat ride. (Source: PIB)
