Aadhaar-PAN linking, ITR filing to picking favourite TV channels: Finish these tasks today
The financial year 2018-19 is about to close today and people are required to finish certain important tasks before the day ends. The taxpayers need to fill their Income Tax Filling with a late fine, while some need to finalise their favourite channels as new TRAI rules rolls in from April 1, 2019. Have a loot at some other financial and other essential tasks that are need to be completed by today:
Filling your Income Tax Return:
The last date of filing income tax returns for the financial year 2017-18 or assessment year 2018-19 is March 31st, 2019, along with a late fee of Rs 10,000. (Pixabay)
PAN and Aadhaar card linking:
To fill your Income Tax, It is mandatory to link your PAN with Aadhaar before 31st March, 2019. If not linked by March 31st, there are chances that the PAN card might be deactivated. (PTI)
Select your favourite TV channels:
Finalise your favourite TV channel before 31st March, 2019 as The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has given customers and subscribers till March 31 to select their favourite TV channels and create channel packs, as per its new regulatory framework, that came into effect on February 1st, 2019. Tax saving investments:
