Weather Update: Delhi to receive rain till July 1; thanks to southwest monsoon, check temperatures in other parts of India

Amid ongoing heatwave conditions, the national capital is also expected to experience light rains on Wednesday, with the minimum temperature being 31.6 degrees Celsius, 3.7 points above the season's normal, the Met Department said.

The monsoon is advancing slowly and steadily in these regions and there are chances of heavy rainfall in Saurashtra Kutch and Gujarat region on June 25 and thereafter.

The IMD has also predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall for Bihar in the upcoming days.

The Met Department has predicted isolated, very heavy rainfall over Tamil Nadu on June 25 and June 26 .

Also, regions like sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Assam and Meghalaya, and Arunachal Pradesh will receive very heavy rainfall from June 25 to June 29.

As well as, isolated heavy rainfall over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura from June 26 to June 29 has also been predicted.

The Met Department has predicted isolated, very heavy rainfall over South Interior Karnataka, Kerala, and Mahe from June 25 to June 27.

Some parts of West Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, East Rajasthan, Saurashtra and Kutch, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Coastal Karnataka, and South Interior Karnataka will also receive heavy rainfall in the upcoming days.

Konkan and Goa during the next 5 days in regions like Coastal Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka, Kerala, and Mahe from June 25 to June 27 to experience very heavy rainfall.

According to IMD, the day before yesterday, the highest maximum temperature of 45.0 °C was reported at Jaisalmer (West Rajasthan) over the country.
