At the same time, Zee Business Managing Editor Anil Singhvi urged people to contribute to this battle by boycotting Made in China products and opt for alternatives.
“What happened on the border is really unfortunate. There is no bigger sacrifice than giving your life for the country. We will always be in debt of these Jawans,” Singhvi said.
As far as tensions go, the situation is likely to remain like this until proper negotiations start between the two countries. Singhvi said that you will get different statements from agencies of both the countries in the next few days and that will definitely have an impact on markets too.

“Nation comes first. This is the time when we need to stay together. Yes, the markets will remain volatile with information coming in from border. But, we need to understand that this is a temporary situation and will get better in the coming days. In fact, this is the first such incident in about fifty years,” Singhvi said.
He added that every citizen needs to contribute in whatever way possible and we can start by boycotting Chinese products.
“We should avoid buying Made in China products and at the same time, look for alternatives to Chinese products that we already own. All of us can do at least this much. There is no need to be scared. We have a strong Army and ready to face any challenge,” Singhvi said.
He explained that changes in stock market will be short term and should not affect investors.
Twenty Indian Army personnel, including officers, were killed in the clash, the Indian Army said on Tuesday. Indian Army issued a statement on Tuesday night wherein it said, "17 Indian troops who were critically injured in the line of duty at the standoff location and exposed to sub-zero temperatures in the high altitude terrain have succumbed to their injuries, taking the total that were killed in action to 20."
The force further stated that Indian and Chinese troops have disengaged in the Galwan area where they had earlier "clashed on the night of June 15 and June 16, 2020."
