Zee Business Exclusive: Government may soon discuss with industry regarding check out timing of hotels

If you are a frequent traveller, keep travelling for business, or, are fond of travelling, you must have faced the problem of the hotel check out timing.

Check out timings of hotels are different in different parts of the country due to which, it becomes difficult for a traveller to remember when to check out. 

Sometimes there one makes extra payment for overstaying unknowingly.

Zee Business informed the government about this problem after taking the feedback received from consumers.

The government swung into action and may soon discuss with industry players on common timings.

The discussions will be based on keeping uniform check out timings based on the global practice.

If the check out timings across the country are the same, it will save consumers from unnecessary hassles and create a better environment for hotels.

Since check out timings are different in many parts of India, many times, travellers face a delay in getting rooms at the time of check-in.

Having the same check out timings will improve communication between the customer and the hotel and will reduce problems.
