You can soon buy petrol, diesel online

• From June 16, 2017, petrol and diesel prices are being revised on daily basis

The ministry of petroleum after undergoing daily revision in petrol and diesel prices, now plans to sell these products through e-commerce platform. 

On September 27, Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan tweeted saying, "Using the technological advancements in the IT & Telecom Sector we will soon be starting online home delivery of Diesel & Petrol."

Pradhan added, "Telecom Revolution has also instilled the confidence that free market supported by right policies always serves the interest of consumers."

With this movement, Pradhan wants to encourage digital transations as anticipated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

From June 16, 2017, petrol and diesel prices are being revised on daily basis. 

Till now customers can only check the daily price revision in these petroleum product, and looks like will be soon able to purchase them. 

Indian Oil has provided four modes where you can get update on daily price change in petrol and diesel prices. 

1 Customers will be able to fetch daily updated prices of petrol and diesel at all cities through IndianOil’s mobile app Fuel@IOC. 

2  Customers may cross-check the prices applicable in their cities by sending SMS RSP< SPACE >DEALER CODE to 92249-92249. The Dealer Code of each petrol pump has been        prominently displayed in the petrol pump premises.

3  In case of any discrepancy, customers can access IndianOil easily as all its petrol pumps prominently display the mobile numbers of Field Officers. 

4 Customers can also alternatively call IndianOil’s Customer Care at 1800-2333-555 to lodge grievance or can log in to www.iocl.com
