World applauds as Chandrayaan-3 successfully lands on the moon: "Momentous milestone in India’s space and technology journey"

Chandrayaan-3 lands on the moon: Today, August 23, 2023, India completed a milestone in its space expedition journey with Chandrayaan-3, as the lunar lander successfully soft landed on the moon's surface at 6:04 PM. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) received all the credits and plaudits for this success.
With this landing, India becomes the fourth country after the USA, China, and then the Soviet Union to successfully land on the surface of the moon. However, what sweetens India's achievement is the fact that it has become the first country to successfully land on the south-polar side of the moon.
With this success, praises from around the world showered upon India, ISRO, and the scientists behind this whole mission. Immediately after the successful landing, Prime Minister Narendra Modi telephoned ISRO chief S. Somanath, congratulating him and the team for the success.
In a video message, President Droupadi Murmu said it was a momentous occasion that has made India proud. Congratulating ISRO scientists, she said, "I congratulate ISRO, everybody involved in the Chandrayaan-3 mission and wish them greater accomplishments ahead."
"This day will be cherished forever!" said Essel Group Chairman Subhas Chandra in a tweet. Adding to that, he said, "The entire Nation witnessed a huge milestone!! Proud of our scientists and teams at @isro who made this aspiration a reality! Jai Hind" in the X post.

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said, “India is now on the moon” in her X post. She added to the post, saying, "@PMOIndia says “mera mann Chandrayaan (Chandrayaan Mission-3) mein bhi laga hua hai.”India lands on South Pole of Moon. Moon (Chandamama) mission is for the world/all to benefit. @isro you are the leaders of the Space Era."

RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das, applauded the scientists, saying, "Congratulations to entire team of ISRO. It demonstrates that where this will and determination: moon is not too far."
FICCI President Subhrakant Panda congratulated the scientists at ISRO for the successful moon landing of Chandrayan -3.

Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra thanked ISRO for the achievement in a tweet. He wrote, "Dhanyavaad, Thank you, @isro for: —Teaching us how to aim for the stars —Making us believe in our own abilities —Showing us how to deal with failure & use it as a platform to rise again. And above all, making us Proud to be Indian. #Chandrayaan3," in the post.

Chairman of Tata Sons, N Chandrasekaran called it an inspirational moment, and added, "Proud moment for every Indian and a momentous milestone in India’s space & technology journey. Congratulations to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and team ISRO. This will inspire generations."
Calling it a "historic moment", National Stock Exchange's MD and CEO, Ashishkumar Chauhan, opined, "I extend my warmest congratulations to our great nation on the remarkable achievement of Chandrayaan-3's soft and successful landing on the south pole of the Moon. This outstanding achievement marks a historic milestone in India's space exploration journey and resonates deeply with the core values that propel our country's progress. As we celebrate this historic moment, let us draw inspiration from it in science and beyond. Let it be a testament to the fact that challenges are mere opportunities for us to showcase our resilience and brilliance. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adiytanath called it an achievement of 'new self-reliant India'. "We are proud of the golden success of 'Chandrayaan-3', the new flight of strength and courage of 'new self-reliant India', which is moving towards becoming a superpower in space research. Hearty congratulations to the team of @isro for this achievement achieved under the visionary leadership of respected Prime Minister! Greetings to all! Jai Hind!," he tweeted.
