We shall overcome! Anil Singhvi hails Bharat Biotech bid to launch Coronavirus Vaccine by 15th August

Coronavirus Vaccine: The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and Bharat Biotech have announced that teh company is looking at launching the COVID-19 vaccine by Independence Day, 15th August this year. Means India is way ahead of other countries in Coronavirus vaccine making and we can expect to get permanent cure from the deadly Chinese virus. Zee Business Managing Editor Anil Singhvi said that it's an announcement that not just Indians, but the entire world would cheer because everyone is looking forward to finding a permanent cure from this dreaded pandemic.

Elaborating further upon what it means for India to find the Coronavirus Vaccine before any other country, Anil Singhvi said, "While the whole world was expecting Coronavirus vaccine by December 2020, the ICMR, Bharat Biotech announcement to launch Coronavirus vaccine by 15th August is a big relief for all. From Indian perspective, if a nation finds permanent cure to the deadly pandemic, the first priority would definitely be its own citizens. An Indian company launching the Coronavirus vaccine also means the country coming out of the pandemic grip at a faster rate than other countries in the world.

However, Anil Singhvi had some words of caution as well. He said that one should not get assured by the announcement as it would take time to showcase how much effective the ICMR, Bharat Biotech Coronavirus vaccine would be. He said that another Indian company Cadila has also got approval for human trial of its Coronavirus vaccine test, which is also a good sign for the fight against Corona.

Singhvi suggested that people must remain vigilant about norms like social distancing, face masks and regular hand washing that will prevent everyone from getting infected by the virus.
