WBSEDCL recruitment 2019: Those who are seeking job must read details here as the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) has invited applications for a total of 1,179 vacant positions of Office Executive and Junior Operator Technician Cum Technical Assistant through a notification. Candidates who are graduates and class 10 pass are eligible to submit their applications on the WBSEDCL's official portal- wbsedcl.in, latest by January 18.

According to the notification, candidates interested for selection to these class III posts have to take written test, computer proficiency test followed by an interview. Notably, the total marks for selection process will be 150 marks out of which 100 marks will be for the written test, which will comprise questions from general awareness, reasoning, quantitative aptitude, English grammar & comprehension, data analysis data interpretation & data sufficiency and computer knowledge. 

The notification stated that candidates belonging to general category should score minimum 40% marks to qualify the written examination, while the pass marks for SC and OBC categories candidates is 35% and for rest it is 30%.

The West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited will hold computer proficiency test for those candidates who qualify the written test.

Notably, the WBSEDCL notification clearly stated that "Candidates will be shortlisted for Interview in 1:3 ratio (category-wise) of the advertised vacancies based on the combined performance in Written Test and Computer Proficiency Test. The process of Interview will also be conducted at Kolkata. Candidates called for Written Test/Computer Proficiency Test (CPT)/ Interview shall not be entitled to reimbursement of any travelling expenses."
