• Last date for application: May 7, 2018.
• Last date for submission of fees in offline mode: May 8, 2018. (NOTE: *However, the Challan must be generated by May 7, 2018, positively.)

Civil Judge (Jr. Divn.): 25 Posts
Eligibility Criteria: The eligible and interested candidate who wants to apply for the post must be an Indian citizen or such a person of other nationality as declared eligible by Government of India. He/she must have enrolled as an advocate in the roll of Bar Council of any State or Union Territory in India on the date of advertisement for the examination.
The person should also have the ability to read, write and speak Bengali language. Educational Qualification: A degree in Law from any university or institution affiliated to any University recognized by the state government or the Central government.
Age Limit: 23-35 years
Application Fees: Rs.210.
Scale of Pay: Rs 27,700-770-33090-920-40450-1080-44770/-. Allowances will also be admissible as per Government orders in force.
How to Apply for the West Bengal Judicial Service Examination 2018
Eligible candidates can apply to the post by visiting the official site of WBPSC at pscwbapplication.in on or before 07 May 2018.
WBPSC Job Notification 2018 applications can be submitted through online only.
Selection Process: The WBJS Examination will be held in three successive stages, and they are
• Preliminary Examination - MCQ Type
• Final Examination - Conventional Type Written
• Personality Test
Candidates selected on the basis of the results of the Preliminary Examination will be allowed admission to the Final Examination and a number of candidates to be selected on the results of the Final Examination will be called to appear at the Personality Test.
Details of location for Preliminary Examination: The Preliminary Examination will be held in Kolkata (Code – 01) and Darjeeling (Code – 02) in June 2018 or thereabouts.
Only candidates of Kalimpong District and three Hill Sub-divisions of Darjeeling, viz., Darjeeling Sadar, Mirik and Kurseong will be allowed to appear at Darjeeling Centre.
The Final Examination will be held at Kolkata in July 2018 or thereabouts. Personality test will be held thereafter in the office of the Public Service Commission, West Bengal.
