"#WAR fell just 2 cr short from beating Frist 7 days collection of #Sultan (208 cr) but if we consider all languages collection then #WAR first 7 days collection is ₹ 7.6 cr more than Sultan. Technically WAR has record highest First week collection of ALL TIME in India," Kadel said. Interestingly, the film was competing against two other big releases at the box office - Joker and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Both these films are doing well too otherwise the action-thriller might have added more to its collection.

However, it should continue to dominate the box office till Diwali with no other big releases scheduled for the next few days. This year's Diwali will mark the release of Akshay Kumar's Housefull 4 and Rajkummar Rao's Made in China - both expected to do well with the movie lovers.

Apart from Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, War also stars Vani Kapoor in an important role.
