News agency PTI shared a video of people jumping off the third floor in order to save their life from the raging inferno.
Chief fire officer (CFO) Pradeep Kumar informed that the fire had broken out due to a short circuit.
Panic spread because the short circuit was near the exit, and those inside felt trapped, he added.

The area falls under Bisrakh Police Station area of Gaur City 1 in Greater Noida West.
As per reports, several people have been injured in the incident.
