UPSC recruitment 2018: Applications invited on upsconline.nic.in for 'Group B' administrative officer; pay scale Rs 9,300-34,800

UPSC recruitment 2018: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited application for the posts of Administrative Officer in the pay scale of PB-2 Rs. 9,300 - 34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,600. There are 9 posts open for recruitment. The last date for submission of the application through  UPSC official website upsconline.nic.in. All the details are available on the official website. The applicants should go through the official notification before applying for the posts. These posts are under the Ministry of Mines. 

Educational qualification: 
Bachelor’s degree from a recognised University.

The qualification is relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.

Experience:

Two years experience in administration, accounts and establishment, legal or vigilance matters in central or state or Union Territory government or government autonomous or statutory organization or central or state public sector corporation or university. 

Age limit: 
The applicants should not be more than 30 years. For the SC/ST candidates the age limit is 35 years and 33 years for Other Backward Classes candidates.

Desirable Qualificaiton:
Degree in law or personnel management from any recognised University. Knowledge of government rules and regulations relating to administration, accounts and establishment, the UPSC notification stated.

Dutyies:

The selected candidates have to look after the work of administration, accounts and establishment, legal or vigilance matters and other allied duties.
 
Probation:  Two years for direct recruits
 

 These are permanent, Group ‘B’ Gazetted posts.
