UPSC releases admit card for Indian Economic Service/Statistical Service examination
On June 2 UPSC had asked candidates for the civil services examination to ensure safe custody of their e-admit card, saying the onus to prove innocence would be on them in case another person is found using the examination ticket.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released admit cards for Indian Economic Service/ Statistical Service examination. The combined competitive exam for recruitment to a junior time scale of the services will begin on June 28. Earlier the candidates who had registered for this exam can download the admit card from the official website upsc.gov.in

This year the Commission has announced 32 vacancies for various posts under the Indian Economic Service and 33 vacancies through the Indian Statistical Service exam.
Eligibility criteria:
Candidates with a postgraduate degree in Applied Economics, Business Economics and Econometrics can appear for the exam.
Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree with Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics as one of the subjects or a Master's degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics take the Indian Statistical Service exam.
Apart from this, the commission has also released the admit card for the Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist exam, which is scheduled to commence on June 28, 29 and June 30. As per reports, Last year the Commission had conducted the exam on June 3 and the result was declared on July 15.
