UPSC recruitment 2018: Vacancies for IT professionals announced; Check eligibility, salary, how to apply

Union Public Service Commission has invited applications for the recruitment of Trained IT Professionals on contract basis. Eligible candidates who fulfill the criteria can apply for the posts. The required posts includes Senior Developer and Software Designer. The candidates duties and responsibilities include handling works such as ORA (Online Recruitment Apllication), SOAP, E-Admit Card, DAF, Accounting Software, Panel and Data Bank Software and Recruitment Rule Software etc. The contract will be of 1 year after selection but it can also be extended in case of individual's good performance and suggestion by the commission. The candidate is not allowed to engage in other works during the service period of contract.

There are two post to be filled in this profile.Here are the details about the recruitment of the post:-

(1) Name of the post:- Senior Developer

Number of posts:- 06

Essential Qualification:- BE/ B.Tech in Information Technology/ Computer Science or MCA degree from a government recognized college or University along with good knowledge in area of Web application, website development, mobile application development, Oracle Database. Candidate should also have knowledge of  Artificial Intelligence.

Experience:- Candidate must have minimum 04 years of experience in software development field.

Salary:- Rs 45000/per month

(2) Name of the post:- Software Designer

Number of Posts:- 01

Essential Qualification:- BE/B.Tech. in Information Technology/ Computer Science or MCA degree from a government recognized college or university along with a good knowledge in area of Web application design and development, website development, mobile application development, Oracle Database, JAVA, Linux & Windows platform. Candidate should also have knowledge of  Artificial Intelligence.

Experience:- Candidate should have a total experience of 07 years; 4 years in software development in PHP using databases such as POSTGRESS or SQL or MySQL and 3 years in actual project designing.

Salary:- Rs 75,000/per month
