UPSC recruitment 2018: The Union Public Service Commission is inviting online recruitment applications (ORA) from eligible candidates for the direct recruitment of these 4 posts on its official website: upsconline.nic.in.
The posts include Air Safety Officer, Assistant Director of Operations, Deputy Director (Safety) (Mechanical), and Scientist 'B' (Chemist). Interested candidates can submit their applications before December 13, 2018.
According to an advertisement issued by the UPSC’s official website, the commission has invited applications for 4 posts which are divided into 60 vacancies. Details of all 60 vacancies are given below:
Air Safety Officer: There are 16 vacancies with the Directorate General Of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation. In which 12 vacancies are for the General category, 1 for ST, and 3 for OBC.
Assistant Director of Operations: There are 37 vacancies with the Directorate General Of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation. Of these, 19 vacancies are for the General category, 5 for SC, 5 for ST, and 8 for OBC.
Deputy Director (Safety) (Mechanical): There is only 1 vacancy with the Directorate General Factory Advice Service & Labour Institute (DGFASLI), Ministry of Labour and Employment. It is only for the OBC category.

Scientist 'B' (Chemist): There are 6 vacancies with the Central Ground Water Board, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation. Of these, 4 vacancies are for the General category, 1 for SC, and 1 for OBC.
