UPSC Civil Services Prelims Results 2018 date:  The endless wait for civil services aspirants is most probably going to be over today as the UPSC Civil Services Prelims Results 2018 declaration is all set to be announced today. The applicants should visit the UPSC official website upsc.gov.in for updates. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) commission is expected to release civil services prelims results 2018 today itself. 
 Earlier, according to some reports, the results of the exam were expected to be declared on July 15. However, UPSC Chairman Arvind Saxena told The Indian Express that the UPSC Civil Services Prelims  will be declared today, on July 9, 2018 itself.  UPSC Chairman Arvind Saxena said that it is likely to announce the dates for the UPSC exam 2018 results on 9 July. According to earlier media reports, the results of the examination were expected on 15 July, about 45 days after the examination.

The UPSC preliminary exam was held in 73 exam centres on 3 June, 2018. The successful candidates in this exam will be eligible for the main exam in September. According to the report, nearly 3 lakh civil service aspirants wrote the exam this year.
