UPSC Civil Services Prelims Results 2018: The UPSC Civil Services preliminary examination 2018 result is expected to be declared on July 22, 2018. However, UPSC prelims result date will be announced July 13 on the official website, upsc.gov.in. However, UPSC result 2018 is likely to be declared on July 22. The candidates should keep visiting the official UPSC website for latest updates. The UPSC exam was held on June 3 in which around three lakh candidates had appeared.
The UPSC Civil Services Prelims candidates need 33 percent marks in Paper II of UPSC Prelims 2018 in order to qualify for UPSC Main Exam 2018. The candidates who will successfully clear the exam will be able to sit for the final exam. The selection is done on the basis of three-tier tests  -- preliminary, main and interview. Civil Service exams are conducted to select IAS, IPS, IRS, among other offer cadres.
