UPSC Civil Services 2020 notification: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for the Civil Services Examination (CSE). The notification was released on Wednesday on UPSC's official websites - upsc.gov.in, upsconline.nic.in. The application process for the exam has started from today itself and the interested candidates have been asked to apply on or before March 3, 2020. The applicants will have a total of six attempts at the examination.

The preliminary exam for UPSC CSE and IFS will be held on May 31 (Sunday). Those who clear it will apply for the main exam followed by the interview round. The candidates will have to submit an online Detailed Application Form (DAF) to appear in the main examination. The candidates will have to specify order of preferences only for those services participating in the civil services examination for the year for which he/ she is interested to be allocated to.

2. Click on the UPSC civil services examination link.

3. Register yourself by providing details.

4. Fill form I and then form II.

5. Make payment and submit.

UPSC 2020 notification: Eligibility

The candidates between the age of 21 and 32 years having an undergraduate level degree can apply for these exams. The applicants need to fill two forms both available at the official website. The upper age limit is relaxed for candidates belonging to the reserved category as per the government rules.

The candidates need to pay Rs 100 as application fee. Those belonging to SC, ST, PwD category and females are exempted from paying any fee.
