UPSC CAPF Recruitment 2019: According to the UPSC notification, the Central Armed Police Forces (ACs) 2019 examination is being organised to fill up a total of 323 vacant positions of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the CAPF.
UPSC CAPF Recruitment 2019: The Union Public Service Commission today issued UPSC CAPF 2019 notification, inviting applications from interested candidates for the Central Armed Police Forces (ACs) examination 2019 at its official website — upsc.gov.in. Those who are interested can submit their application till May 20, 2019--the last date. Aspirant are advised to check the number of vacancies from the notification for the examination scheduled to be conducted on August 18, 2019.
According to the UPSC notification, the Central Armed Police Forces (ACs) 2019 examination is being organised to fill up a total of 323 vacant positions of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the CAPF — Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). Notably, the Commission has also introduced the facility of withdrawal of Application for those candidates who do not want to appear for the examination.
The eligible candidates will be issued an e‐Admission Certificate three weeks before the commencement of the examination, through the UPSC website and they would be able to download it. No admission certificate will be sent by post, therefore applicants are required to provide valid and active email ID while filling up Online Application form. The UPSC will use electronic mode for contacting them.
Educational qualification: Interested candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized university of the country.
Age limit: Interested candidates should be in the age group of 20 to 25 years.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected through examination process that includes a written test, physical standards/physical efficiency tests and medical standards tests, interview/personality test and final selection/merit.
Candidates will have take the written examination comprising two papers: Paper I (General Ability and Intelligence), and Paper II (General Studies, Essay and Comprehension).
