UPSC admit card 2018: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has asked Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination-2018 candidates to download their admit cards as fast as possible. The Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination-2018 will be held on June 3. So far only 50 percent candidates have downloaded admit cards. As the exam is reaching nearer, the UPSC has raised alarm for uploading the admit card.
UPSC Civil Services exam will be held across the county.The candidates can download e-Admit card from UPSC official website: upsc.gov.in. The UPSC has advised students to download the hall entry document now to avoid last minute rush. The candidates have to take printout of the downloaded for the IAS Prelims Exam have to download the admit card and carry the print out of it as they will not be issued a physical copy.
UPSC in its advisory has stated the dos and don’ts for the candidates appearing for the exams. The entry into the Examination hall will be closed 10 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the Examination. The exam will start at 09:20 AM for the morning session and 02:20 PM for the afternoon Session. Candidates will not be allowed entry into the Examination Venue after the stipulated time. The Candidates have to reach the venue mentioned in their entry documents.
In the IAS Prelims Exam, there are two papers – General Studies I and General Studies-II.
The General Studies I consist of 100 questions and the General Studies II is qualifying in nature. However, a student has to receive qualifying marks in the paper. The tow-level IAS Main exam - IAS Main (written) and the Personality Test -- is conducted to select officers for IAS, IFS, IPS, among other cadres.
