Uttar Pradesh Night Curfew News: The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to lift the coronavirus-induced night curfew as the state witnesses a sustained decline in COVID-19 cases.

News agency ANI tweeted from its official Twitter handle, "Government of Uttar Pradesh lifts the #COVID19 induced night curfew following a drop in the number of COVID  cases."

 

The night curfew hours in the state was between 10 PM to 6  AM, which was relaxed by an hour from February 13.

Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Awanish Awasthi said the decision to end night curfew was taken following the decline in COVID-19 cases, as per a PTI report. 

On the COVID-19 frontier in India, India's COVID-19 tally climbed to 4,28,02,505 on Saturday with 22,270 more people testing positive for the viral disease, while the number of active cases came down to 2,53,739, according to Union health ministry data.
