UP Board Result 2020: Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Siksha Parishad (UPMSP) has completed checking of over 80 per cent of the board examination copies by 23 May 2020, as an India.com report. The report further said that the UPMSP has almost completed the checking process in green and orange zones. The checking process is still to be completed in the red zone.

UPMSP has said that 57,11,692 (99.80 per cent) answer copies have been checked in the green zone, while in orange and red zones, the board has completed checking of 1,28,37,725 (95.67 per cent) and 47,19,122 (52.39 per cent) answer copies. In all, the board has examined 2.32 cr (2,32,68,539) answer copies taking the overall tally to 82.66 per cent.

In terms of zones, the board has completed checking in 19 out of the 20 green zone districts. In the orange zone districts, checking in 19 out of 36 zones have been completed. Out of the 75 districts, checking process has been completed in 38 districts, according to India.com.

The evaluation of answer copies started from 19 May in red zones, while in green and orange zones the evaluation process started from 5 may and 12 May respectively.  The UPMSP expects to complete the evaluation process by the end of May. The results are likely to be declared by July. The UP board examinations which ended on 6 March saw over 56 lakh student (56,07,118) appearing for the exams.

UPMSP claims to be the biggest examining body in the world. At present, there are over 22000 secondary schools recognized by the UP Board of High School and Intermediate Education. The remaining secondary schools in the state are affiliated to Indian Council of School Education (ICSE), and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
