UP Board result 2018 Class 10, 12 declaration date: The Uttar Pradesh Board exam 2018 results for class 10 and class 12 are likely to be declared in the third week of April, as the evaluation process is expected to commence from March 17. The UP Board results would be announced almost a month earlier than previous years, and to accomplish this task over 1.46 lakh examiners would reportedly be involved. According to reports, a total of 11,28,250 students failed to take the board examination and speculations say that strict measures taken to curb prevalent malpractice during the examination is one of the reasons. The state government has ordered to install CCTVs at various evaluation centres to maintain transparency, and would also deploy security forces to keep the education mafia in check.
Talking about the early results, UP Board secretary Neena Srivastava reportedly said the early declaration of results is because the exams started before time. “Since we started the exams from February 6, the results will also be out early. A total of 66,37,018 students appeared in the UP Board’s 2018 examination. These included 36,55,691 for class 10 and 29,81,327 students for class 12. UP Board result 2018 examination for Class 10 concluded on February 22, while the last examination date for Class 12 was March 12. A re-examination for class 10 Science and class 12 Physics would take place soon, as per the board's announcement.
The date for the said examination is stated to be announced in the first week of April. Last year, the UP Board results were delayed by almost a month.
It may be noted that the CBSE Board is also conducting exams for class 10 and class 12 students. Over 28 lakh students of class 10 and 12 are taking part in the examinations. A total of 16,38,428 candidates have registered for class X examination, while 11,86,306 candidates have registered for class XII examination, according to CBSE.
