Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan dies at 74; son Chirag tweets about father's demise

Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan today passed away at the age of 74. Paswan who recently underwent heart surgery at Delhi's Fortis hospital, passed away late on Thursday. Paswan, a veteran politician from Bihar, was the Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. Paswan was also the president of the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP). He was an eight-time Lok Sabha member and current Rajya Sabha MP.
