Unemployment, corruption among top worries of Indians
As per the `The Ipsos, What Worries the World Survey`, unemployment and financial/political corruption with 44 per cent each were the two top issues that bother Indians followed by crime and violence (33 per cent), poverty and social inequality (31 per cent) and terrorism (21 per cent).
Unemployment and corruption are top issues that worry Indians the most even as they believe that the country was headed in the right direction, a survey revealed on Friday.
As per the `The Ipsos, What Worries the World Survey`, unemployment and financial/political corruption with 44 per cent each were the two top issues that bother Indians followed by crime and violence (33 per cent), poverty and social inequality (31 per cent) and terrorism (21 per cent).
It also said that China topped the list on being optimistic about the direction of their country, followed by Saudi Arabia and India where 67 per cent of those surveyed believed that India is headed in the right direction.
