Recently, in a big convenience to Aadhaar card users, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) had started a Twitter service. This means if you have any query related to Aadhaar, you can tweet them to the Twitter handle Aadhaar Help Centre - @Aadhaar_Care. This Twitter query service is an additional service with the existing customer services available on phone, email id or Aadhaar help and service centres. This move by UIDAI is expected to help Aadhaar subscribers big time.
Earlier, UIDAI had tweeted, "Using the #OrderAadhaarReprint service will not update your new mobile number in your Aadhaar details. You will have to visit Aadhaar Kendra for mobile no. update with mandatory biometric authentication. Get details of nearby Aadhaar Kendra from: https://appointments.uidai.gov.in/easearch.aspx."
According to UIDAI, Order Aadhaar Reprint Service is available on http://uidai.gov.in or from your mAadhaar App for a nominal charge of Rs.50/- (inclusive of GST & speed post charges). The payment can be made using Credit/ Debit Card, Net Banking or UPI.
