UGC NET July 2018 examination: Last date extends by CBSE for online applications; check details at cbsenet.nic.in
As the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the last day for filling the online applications for NET- July 2018 examination. Now, the last date for filling the online applications, for JRF & Assistant Professor both, and Assistant Professor only, is April 12, 2018. So, interested candidates who missed out the last deadline to fill the form are advised to log into cbsenet.nic.in at the earliest and apply for the exam.
UGC NET July 2018 examination: There is a good news for all candidates who wanted to apply for the University University Grant Commission's (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) July 2018 exams but missed it due to some reason or the other. As the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the last day for filling the online applications for NET- July 2018 examination. Now, the last date for filling the online applications, for JRF & Assistant Professor both, and Assistant Professor only, is April 12, 2018. So, interested candidates who missed out the last deadline to fill the form are advised to log into cbsenet.nic.in at the earliest and apply for the exam.
Yesterday, .i.e. April 5, 2018, was the last date of online submission for the UGC Net examination. Students can pay the fee up to 13th April. The CBSE said it extended the date after receiving requests from applicants.

• Last date of registration: April 12, 2018 (Earlier the last date was April 5, 2018).

• Number of Subjects for which exams will be conducted: 84 subjects
• Venue: 91 selected NET examination cities spread across the country
Age Eligibility: For applying for Junior Research Fellowship 30 years. The age was extended to 30 years from previous age limit of 28years.
Category Age Relaxation:
• For OBC (non-creamy layer): Five years
• For SC/ST/PWD/Transgender: Five years
• For candidates who have served in the armed forces: Five years
Examination Scheme
• Paper I: 100 marks; number of questions: 50; duration: 1 hour (09.30 am to 10.30 am)
• Paper II: 200 marks; number of questions: 100; duration: 2 hours (11 am to 01 pm)
UGC NET 2018 examination fee
• General: Rs 1,000
• Other Backward Classes (non-creamy layer): Rs 500
• SC/ST/PwD/Transgender: Rs 250
